Interpreting

Are you new in Germany and about to meet people, to have important conversations, to take part in an event?

Being physically present makes interpreting much easier. However, by this time I have some experience with the interpretation of online talks. I have successfully used the following software solutions by now:

• Skype
• Zoom
• Microsoft Teams

Interpreting online should probably also be possible on the following additional platforms:

• GoToMeeting
• Jitsi

You and I should have to test them beforehand, as well as possible other solutions not mentioned here. But a quick test would also be advisable in the case of the programs that I do have experience with.

I am only ready to interpret on the telephone if I can be physically present with one of the parties and their telephone is on loudspeaker mode so that both parties hear not only me but also each other.
